Sensory Issues - Marie
The group session continues with Marie who has questions about the reactions of her toddler son He seems to be uncomfortable in many situations and has extreme reactions to discomfort. Maribeth helps her explore sensory issues.
Marie's son Kai will often dig his heels in and refuse to take part in certain activities. This goes for anything from getting a haircut, to going swimming, to playing in snow. Maribeth discusses strategies to manage his sensory overload and reframe the idea of catering to him, to understanding his needs.
